A PERFECT ICONIC HOTEL AND A PERFECT SUNDAY LUNCH I love this beautiful hotel! My husband and I enjoyed a pre lunch bottle of wine in the bar....... The setting ......the sun was shining we sat looking out across The English Riviera this was just magical ....... took our breath away! It was just after 1pm so headed for the dining room My husband and I were greeted by the restaurant manager and shown to a window seat how wonderful! In the corner there was a very smart gentleman playing the piano so.beautifully our first impressions were ......Wow! The waiter Trevor took our order and the starters soon followed large mushrooms with smoked ham stilton and italian leaves excellent ........soon to be followed by a roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings.......served at the table we both agreed the meal was excellent and generous plates! We ordered our sweets bakewell tart custard and clotted cream this was to die for .............and no we were not finished next came the coffee and mints! All this for just over £16 for 3 courses! and attentive staff She maybe an old girl but the elegence and charm of this iconic hotel cannot be measured! Just for three hours we felt like royalty!

Just come back from a valentibes weekend away, we stayed in room 88, what a lovely room, complete with sitting area with settee and tv and another tv in the becroom, spacious bathroom with bath with shower over, two windows looking out towards the pier. Only thing i woukd say is the mattress was uncomfy, springs digging into my back, all in all a lovely room. This was our third stay at the redcliffe, we love it. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Staff warm and friendly. Cant wait to return!

I stayed with you just for 1 night 15th sept and what an amazing stay . The hospitality shown by all of your staff from the beginning to the end of my stay was 1st class . My room was an amazing sea view room room 61 (unexpected) and had to be the most comfiest room I have stayed in a very long time. The hotel itself is so quirky and I loved all the different floors . The outside seating area is lovely and tranquil . I will definitely be coming back in the future and hope to stay a bit longer next time . Thankyou

We have just returned home from another fabulous stay -our 4th time and there will be many more. As in previous visits-the staff were so professional and caring-also with a great sense of humour which we loved. Maybe it's a bit unfair to mention individuals as all the staff were fantastic but we have to mention Carl for his professionalism and his very happy and funny ways, also we have to mention Tyrone who served us several times during our 8 day stay- just a great guy and excellent at his job. The food was lovely and plentiful and we were always offered more if we wanted it. We will be returning for a few days just before Christmas and a longer break next May. I would also like to mention the room service staff who i'm sure get overlooked in these testimonials- when we came back after our breakfast or a day out , our room always like the first day we arrived and when we did bump into any of them they were always polite and had a smile. We would find it very difficult to find any faults and can't wait until December for another visit. Thank you all for making out holiday so lovely. Alan

Please convey to all staff concerned our thanks for the help given to my wife when we came for Sunday Lunch on 3 April. She was in pain from an attack of arthritis, and was helped up the steps at the entrance, and all the way to our table. On leaving, a wheelchair was provided to help her to get to our car. As a frequent "Sunday Luncher" and member of Paignton Probus Club I am well usd to the efficiency and courtesy of your staff, but on this occasion they excelled themselves, particularly as our visit came at the very busy time of the wedding Fayre event. Again, many thanks..
